Estate Coffees

Estate coffees originate from a single farm or estate. Because the coffee is grown and processed using only the methods of the particular farm, they are characterised by higher consistency and quality than regular coffees.

Estate coffees are rare in Colombia since only about 2% of coffee growers have coffee plots bigger than 10 hectares.

Organic Coffees

Organic coffee is grown without the application of synthetic chemical fertilizers and pesticides, using sustainable agricultural methods which protect natural resources such as trees, birds and water sources. These coffees are certified by an independent certification agency such as The Soil Association (UK), Ecocert (Europe) or OCIA (USA).
